As one of the first buildings in the country to register for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, The Unified Science Center was a pioneer in sustainable design and construction. The combination of renovation and new construction linked three existing buildings with a new multi-story atrium to become a campus centerpiece and a central location for all of the college's science programs.
